Ouellette Returns to Solar Bears

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that goaltender Martin Ouellette has been reassigned to the club by the Syracuse Crunch, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, while Troy Bourke has been recalled to Syracuse. Both players are on AHL contracts with the Crunch. Additionally, the Solar Bears have also waived rookie goaltender Hayden Stewart.

Ouellette, 26, is 6-3-1 in 10 appearances with the Solar Bears this season, recording a 3.38 goals-against average, a .899 save percentage and one shutout. The goalie was recalled to Syracuse on Nov. 15, but did not see game action.

Bourke, 24, had posted 19 points (6g-13a) and 14 penalty minutes in 13 games since he was reassigned to Orlando on Oct. 31. The fifth-year pro earned Inglasco/ECHL Player of the Week honors for the week of Nov. 5-11. He has also skated in four games with Syracuse this season.

Stewart, 24, went 1-3-0 in five appearances with Orlando, recording a 4.04 goals-against average and a .873 save percentage. Stewart originally signed with the Solar Bears on Nov. 15.
