Ontario Reign Game Preview: Reign and Gulls Wrap up 2015-16 Regular Season Tonight

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), take on the San Diego Gulls tonight at 7:05 p.m. PT at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California. Tonight is the 12th and final regular-season meeting between the two teams and the final game of the 2015-16 regular season for both clubs.

Playoff Picture:

With the Charlotte Checkers wrapping up the regular season on a five-game losing streak, the San Jose Barracuda only need one standings point to clinch a berth in the 2016 Calder Cup Playoffs and face the Reign in the best-of-five first-round series. The Barracuda battle the Stockton Heat tonight and tomorrow afternoon.

The Ontario Reign enter tonight's contest on a five-game winning streak.

The Reign hold a 4-5-1-1 record against the Gulls this season, sit 2-3-0-0 in San Diego and snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-2 win in San Diego last night.
