Mr. Willie O'Ree Visits Augusta on Wednesday, January 8th

AUGUSTA, GA - The Family Y and the Augusta Lynx are proud to welcome Mr. Willie O'Ree to the Augusta Family Y, Wilson Branch, located at 3570 Wheeler Road on Wednesday, January 8th at 7:00 PM for a hockey clinic and lecture on "Success in Life".
Mr. O'Ree, the first African-American to ever play hockey in the National Hockey League, will be giving the free clinic and lecture as a representative of the National Hockey League.
This free Clinic and lecture will be open to the public and will begin at 7:00 PM. Loiue the Lynx is also scheduled to be on hand during this wonderful evening at the Family Y. For more information call Winn Crenshaw at the Family Y at 733-1030.
The Augusta Lynx will travel to Florence, South Carolina to play the Pee Dee Pride this Tuesday night at 7:00pm. The Lynx return home this Saturday and Sunday to entertain the Florida Everblades. For more information please contact the Lynx Public Relations Department at 724-4423.
