THE WEEK AHEAD

Tuesday, January 7th at Columbus Columbus Civic Center 7:00pm

This is the only road game this week for the Inferno before three home games. The Inferno is 2-1-0 against the Cottonmouths this season. This is the fourth meeting between Columbus and Columbia.

Thursday, January 9th vs. Trenton Carolina Coliseum 7:05pm

This is the second meeting between the two teams in franchise history. The Inferno is 0-1-0 against the Titans. Trenton is tied for fourth place in the Northeast Division with 39 points.

Friday, January 10th vs. Roanoke Carolina Coliseum 7:05pm

The Inferno won the first meeting on November 29th 7-4 in Roanoke. This will be the second meeting all-time between the two teams. The Express are in third place with 44 points.

Saturday, January 11th vs. South Carolina Carolina Coliseum 7:05pm

This is the sixth meeting this season for the Stingrays and Inferno. The Inferno is 3-2-0 this season and 8-4-1 all-time against South Carolina. The Stingrays are in third place with 43 points.

Friday, January 3rd COLUMBIA 5 Florida 2

Rejean Stringer scored the game winning goal, Chris Pittman had two goals and Corey Hessler, Matt Ulwelling each had a goal for the Inferno as they beat the Everblades 5-2. Patrick Couture stopped 34 of 26 shots. The Inferno went 7 for 7 on the penalty kill and 2 for 5 on the power play.

Saturday, January 4th Columbia 1 FLORIDA 4

Paul Cabana scored his first goal of the season, shorthanded that was Columbia's only goal of the game as they dropped to Florida 4-1. Josh Blackburn was in the net for the Inferno stopping 38 of 42 shots. The Inferno went 7 for 8 on the penalty kill and 0 for 5 on the power play.
