FRESNO, Calif. – Chandar Sports Chairman Charles Davenport has named Greg Schuh (pr: shoe) President of the Fresno Falcons.

Schuh will oversee the organization's business operations, which include preparations for the team's move to the East Coast Hockey League and the Save Mart Center in the fall of 2003. He arrives in Fresno after spending the last 4 ½ years with the Topeka Scarecrows, formerly of the Central Hockey League and currently a member of the United States Hockey League

Davenport will formally introduce Schuh to Falcons fans and the media at a press conference to be held on Thursday, Jan. 16. More details regarding the time and location will follow early next week. For additional information, please contact Brian Clark at 559-281-4776.

In addition to the Falcons, Chandar Sports owns and operates the expansion Las Vegas Wranglers, which will also join the ECHL in the fall of 2003. The ownership of the two minor league hockey franchises marks the initial steps in the company's plan to acquire and cultivate diverse holdings in the areas of sports and entertainment.
