Mitch Maxwell Returns to Grizzlies

Wichita, Kansas - Utah Grizzlies forward Mitch Maxwell has returned to the Grizzlies lineup tonight against the Wichita Thunder.

Maxwell played in 20 games for the Grizzlies in the 2017-18 season, where he had 4 goals and 7 assists.

Maxwell played 2 years in the WHL from 2009-11 before serving a 2 year LDS mission from 2011-13. Maxwell was with the U. of Lethbridge from 2014-18, where he had 30 goals and 75 assists in 138 games.

Grizzlies continue a 6 game road trip on February 1st and 2nd at Wichita. Utah returns home on February 6th against Idaho. Get your tickets now at utahgrizzlies.com.

Grizzlies notes: Goaltender Joe Cannata, Defenseman Kevin Davis and Forward Tim McGauley have each been called up by the AHL's Colorado Eagles. Cannata leads the league with 4 shutouts on the year. Davis has 1 goal and 18 assists for the Grizzlies and McGauley is tied for 2nd on the team with 14 goals. Utah is currently 3-1 on the current 6 game road trip. Jake Marchment was outstanding in a 2 game sweep at Tulsa, where he had 3 goals and 1 assist.
