The Americans play the second of a three-game series against the Idaho Steelheads tonight at Allen Event Center. It's Circus Night in Allen. Tomorrow night the Americans will celebrate Star Wars Night with several of your favorite Star Wars characters on the concourse pregame. The Americans will also wear specialty Star Wars jerseys tomorrow night. The Americans made a trade this afternoon sending defenseman Garrett Clarke to the Fort Wayne Komets for future considerations.
Last Game:
The Allen Americans won the first of three against the Idaho Steelheads on Wednesday night by a score of 4-2. The all-time leader in games played for Allen, Spencer Asuchak, had two goals in the victory. CJ Motte stopped 26 of 28 Idaho shots.
Americans Notables:
Zach Pochiro leads the ECHL with 25 goals.
Dante Salituro is riding an eight-game point streak.
Spencer Asuchak is coming off a two-goal game on Wednesday.
Zach Pochiro had his two-game goal streak snapped on Wednesday.
Zach Pochiro is sixth in the ECHL in scoring with 45 points.
Dante Salituro finished as Allen's points leader in the month of January with 15 points.

Steven McParland leads Idaho in points with 37.
Keegan Kanzig leads the Steelheads in plus/minus with a +24.
Rookie Brad McClure leads Idaho in goals with 18. He had his four-game point streak snapped on Wednesday.

Final Thoughts:
After having their seven-game point streak snapped last Saturday night in Tulsa, Allen has picked up at least a point in nine of their last ten games.
Emerson Clark and Curt Gogol have both served their five-game suspensions, and are eligible to return tonight.
Idaho leads the league, averaging 21.25 penalty minutes per game.
Allen is 9-4-3-1 when scoring the first goal.
The Americans just finished their best month of the season with 16 points in January.
