BOWIE, Md. - Baysox second baseman Greg Miclat has been named Eastern League Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, July 10. Miclat is the first Baysox player to win the award since Joe Mahoney won it for the week ending July 26, 2010.

Miclat hit .652 (15-23) for the week, with 11 runs scored, six stolen bases and four RBIs. In 77 games with the Baysox this year, Miclat is batting .279 (77-276) with a team-leading 48 runs scored and 30 stolen bases. He is currently on a nine game hitting streak.
