INDEPENDENCE, MO. - The Kansas City Mavericks defeated the Tulsa Oilers 2-1 Saturday night at Cable Dahmer Arena. Rob Bordson netted two goals for the Mavericks. The Mavericks return to action Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Rapid City Rush at Cable Dahmer Arena.

Kansas City goal: Rob Bordson (4) at 4:25. Assisted by Brodie Reid and Willie Corrin.

Tulsa goal: Charlie Sampair (3) at 16:36. Assisted by Adam Pleskach.
