Matthew Pistilli Agrees to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Feb. 8, 2014) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that forward Matthew Pistilli has agreed to a professional tryout contract (PTO).
Pistilli, 25, has split time with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) and the Florida Everblades (ECHL) this season. He played 14 games on a PTO with Charlotte and scored eight points (four goals, four assists). With Florida, he's collected 36 points (16 goals, 20 assists) in 28 games. Since finishing his junior hockey career in 2008-09, the Montreal native has played in a combined 140 ECHL games with Florida and South Carolina and a combined 136 AHL games with Albany and Charlotte.
