
Martensson Named to AHL All-Star Team

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Cincinnati Mighty Ducks center Tony Martensson has been selected as a member of the PlanetUSA all-star team for the American Hockey League All-Star Classic, scheduled February 8-9 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Canadian team will play the PlanetUSA team, comprised of players from the United States and Europe. The event gets underway February 8, with the 2004 AHL All-Star Skills Competition at 7:00 p.m. The annual All-Star Game follows at 7:00 p.m. February 9, and will be televised live in the United States and Canada.
Martensson ranks second on the Ducks in scoring with 25 points (six goals, 19 assists) and leads the club with a plus-17 rating in 32 games. This will be his first AHL all-star appearance.
