Havoline NASCAR Night at the Crunch Set For January 31

Syracuse, NY (January 8, 2004) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that their January 31 game against the Hamilton Bulldogs will be Havoline NASCAR Night at the Crunch.

The #42 Havoline NASCAR, driven by Jamie McMurray, the 2003 NASCAR Rookie of the Year, will be at the Crunch's game on Saturday, January 31. The Havoline NASCAR will be located in the basement of the War Memorial during the game.

In addition, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Jamie McMurray 8x10 photo.

Fans will also have the opportunity to win a four (4) pack of Watkins Glen tickets and participate in a raffle to win a helmet autographed by Jamie McMurray.

Syracuse hosts Hershey on Friday, January 9 for East Syracuse Crunch Ice Scraper Night. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Crunch ice scraper, courtesy of East Syracuse Chevrolet. Saturday, January 10, the Crunch host the Rochester Americans. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for both games are available by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter box office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (415) 472-0700.
