Kunitz scores twice in Ducks win over Admirals

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Chris Kunitz scored a pair of power-play goals and Chris Armstrong and Tony Martensson each had two assists to help the Cicninnati Mighty Ducks edge the Milwaukee Admirals, 3-2, Thursday at the Bradley Center.

Keith Aucoin also scored for the Ducks, who won their second straight game and halted a seven-game road winless streak (0-6-1-0).

Kunitz, who has seven points in his last two games, scored 13:20 into the first period to even the score at 1-1 and added what proved to be the game-winning goal 1:17 into the third. Five of his team-leading 13 goals have come against Milwaukee.

Ilya Bryzgalov made 27 saves, including 20 in the second period, to earn his 12th victory of the season for Cincinnati.

Jay Henderson and Mathieu Darche scored for Milwaukee, which snapped its four-game unbeaten streak (3-0-1-0) and lost for just the second time in its last eight games (5-2-1-0).

Brian Finley, a first-round pick by Nashville in 1999, stopped 31 of 34 shots in the loss for the Admirals, who have gone 1-2-1-0 against Cincinnati this season.

The Ducks play at 8:00 p.m. Saturday in Chicago.
