
Jacobson Assigned By Cincinnati; Traded To Pee Dee

BILOXI, Miss. â The Mississippi Sea Wolves of the ECHL announced today that right wing Lee Jacobson has been assigned by the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League and then traded to the Pee Dee Pride of the ECHL for future considerations.
Jacobson, 23, appeared in 18 games with Cincinnati in his first AHL call up accumulating 104 penalty minutes including 10 major penalties. Loaned to the Mighty Ducks on December 28, the 6-foot-4 and 230-pound Jacobson led the ECHL with 15 major penalties while playing for the Sea Wolves. A native of Chicago, Jacobson appeared in a total of 22 games with Mississippi compiling 91 penalty minutes.
The Sea Wolves get back into action at 7:05 p.m. tonight in the first-ever game against the Idaho Steelheads, the defending Kelly Cup Champions, at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 22.
