
Fundraisers Announced for Home Games On April 2 and April 9

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced today that fundraisers on tickets being sold for home games on April 2 and April 9th will help benefit Covenant Hospice, Children's Miracle Network and Pensacola Chamber LEAP organization, to help restore four parks damaged by Hurricane Ivan.
The Pensacola Chamber LEAP organization is selling $15 and $13 tickets for the Ice Pilots home game vs. Mississippi on Saturday, April 2 at 7:05 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to help restore four parks damaged by Hurricane Ivan. Fans can call the Pensacola Chamber to buy their tickets by contacting Denise Loughrey at 438-4081 or Hank Dousharm at GEICO located at 1919 Creighton Road call 494-0052.
Covenant Hospice is also selling $10 tickets for the April 2 home game vs. Mis! sissippi at 7:05 p.m. Fans can call Judi Capello at 202-5930. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for this game will go to help support Covenant Hospice.
Sam's Club is also selling $13 and $15 tickets for the Ice Pilots home game on April 9th vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for this night will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network. Fans can contact Gary Schonour at Sam's Club at 484-7508.
The Ice Pilots will play at Augusta this Friday and Saturday night at 6:35 p.m. central time. Fans will be able to listen to the games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network with flagship station AM 1620, Cox Communications Channel 2 and at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue.
The Ice Pilots next two home games are Tuesday, March 22 vs. Victoria and Saturday, March 26 vs. Augusta with both games at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, March 22nd is Florida Lottery Second Chance Night and Saturday, March 26th is IHOP Bunny Toss. Fans are encour! aged to bring a stuffed animal bunny to the game on Saturday, March 26 th and toss the bunny on the ice when the Ice Pilots score their first goal of the game. The stuffed animal bunnies will be distributed to local hospitals and schools in the Pensacola area. The Easter Bunny will also be at the game for kids to get their picture taken with.
Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. For group tickets, season tickets and birthday parties, fans can call the Ice Pilots office at 432-PUCK.
