Guite recalled by Colorado

Albany River Rats News Release


ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats today announced that center Ben Guite has been recalled by the Colorado Avalanche.

Guite had 10 goals and 19 assists with 22 penalty minutes in 36 games with Albany this season, including points in 15 of his last 16 games. The 28-year-old native of Montreal, Quebec has appeared in five games with Colorado this season, recording one point, his first NHL goal January 9 at Detroit.

The River Rats, who have won three of their last four games, play their final game prior to the AHL All-Star Break Saturday, January 27 against the Manchester Monarchs at 7:35 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
