Grizzlies Win Fourth Straight

West Valley City, Utah - Andy Sertich scored the game-winning power-play goal with 3:03 left in overtime as the Utah Grizzlies defeated Las Vegas 3-2 and won their fourth straight game overall Friday night at the E-Center.

The Grizzlies got the scoring started 4:53 into the first period with Jake Riddle scoring his third goal of the year and second in two games. Gordon Burnett and Travis Rycroft picked up the assists. The Wranglers followed with two straight goals and led 2-1 after one period.

Brendan Cook got the game-tying power-play goal in the second to make the score 2-2.

Throughout the game, goaltender Rob McVicar kept the Grizzlies in it; stopping 37 of 39 Wranglers shots.

Utah killed the final 1:33 of regulation and the first 27 seconds of overtime shorthanded, following a minor penalty late in the period.

Luciano Aquino and Ryan Kinasewich extended their scoring streaks to five with assists on the final Utah goal.

The Grizzlies return home again tomorrow hosting Las Vegas. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
