vs Bakersfield Condors

Game one of a three-game series

LAST GAME vs Bakersfield : Wes Goldie scored the first of three powerplay goals in the first period. Kevin St. Jacques and Tyler Scott tallied markers for the Condors.

Rane Carnegie added another goal before the end of the first period.

Bakersfield continued their goal streak in the second period as Steve Rodberg beat Goaltender Bryan Bridges from the point and St. Jacques earned his second goal of the game.

Victoria captain Kiel McLeod closed the gap with a score nearing the end of the second period, and started a pressuring comeback from the Salmon Kings. The Condors defused the comeback with a backhanded marker from Brett Lutes.

Victoria fought in the third period with goals from newcomer Marc-Andre Bernier and All-Star Forward Milan Gajic, but Bakersfield held their lead.
