'Blades get Johner and Parsons back in lineup

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Dustin Johner has been reassigned to the club from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League, and that forward Brad Parsons has been activated from the 30-day injured reserve list.
Johner, 23, returns to the Everblades after skating in two games earlier this week with the Americans, finishing plus-2 in the pair of games. With the Everblades this season, the Sylvan Lake, Alberta native has collected 30 points (14g, 16a) in 30 games, which ranks him third on the team in scoring.
Parsons rejoins the Everblades lineup for the first time since suffering a concussion on November 18 vs. Pensacola. The 27-year-old began the season with four points (2g, 2a) in nine games before missing the next 22 games. The Kingston, Massachusetts native is in his fifth season professionally but his first with the Everblades. In 253 career games dating back to 2002-03, Parsons has 134 points (39g, 95a).-
The Florida Everblades, proud affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Florida Panthers, return to action tonight when they take on the Gwinnett Gladiators from the at 7:35 p.m. from the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA. The Everblades' next home game is Friday, January 26 vs. the Gwinnett Gladiators.
