
Grizzlies Fall 3-0 Friday In Long Beach

Long Beach, California - The Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Utah Grizzlies (3-9-2) 3-0 Friday night in Southern California.
Utah outshot the Ice Dogs 12-7 in the first period. Ryan Kinasewich and Matt Craig each had three shots for the Grizzlies.
Long Beach outshot Utah 33-4 in the second period as they built a 3-0 lead on two 5-on-5 goals and one 5-on-3 goal. Brandon Schwartz scored at 9:20 and 14:44 of the period. Ash Goldie's power-play goal came at 13:00 of the period. 33 shots allowed by Utah in the period set an all-time team record.
Tonight, Matt Craig rejoined the Grizzlies from the AHL's Manitoba Moose. He was promoted from Utah on November 4.
Newly acquired forwards Brendan Cook and Tyler Liebel along with defenseman Chris Trick are expected to join the team tomorrow in Fresno.
The Grizzlies play game four of their California road trip tomorrow in Fresno. Face-off is once again scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
Utah returns home a week from tonight and tomorrow hosting Victoria at the E-Center.
