
Rays Face-Off Against Charlotte Tonight

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays and Charlotte Checkers meet tonight for the first time this season. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum with the Benito's Pregame show beginning on WQSC with Voice of the Rays Mike Kelly at 6:50 p.m.
South Carolina and Charlotte have not met since the Rays knocked the Checkers out of the Kelly Cup Playoffs last season. The Checkers are 6-3 this season for 12 points including three wins on the road, placing them three points behind the Rays and four points behind the division-leading Florida Everblades. Last season the Checkers were 9-2-0 against the Rays in regular season play.
