Key game: 5-2 win on November 10, 2005 (Home Opener). Ryan Wade scored the game winning goal and Adam Taylor tallied an assist.

LAST GAME:

Victoria captured its third victory in extra periods this season in defeating the Pacific Division leading Stockton Thunder in game one of the series. The Salmon Kings jumped to a two-goal lead early in the second period as Ryan Wade added to Wes Goldie's marker from the first. The Thunder scored two unanswered goals to tie the game with over ten minutes remaining in the third period.

Darryl Lloyd notched the go-ahead goal, and Stockton tied it up again before the buzzer.

With just under two seconds remaining in Overtime, rookie defenseman Seamus Young capitalized on a rebound, and helped move Victoria into third spot in the West division with a record of 6-5-1

- Julien Ellis becomes the first Salmon Kings goaltender to earn four straight victories.
