
Alaska's Benson Suspended, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Friday that it has suspended Alaska left wing Hans Benson for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #134 vs. Las Vegas on Nov. 16.
At 17:23 of the third period, Benson was assessed a double minor penalty for roughing, a major penalty for cross checking and a Game Misconduct penalty under Rule 59.5.
Benson is suspended under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Benson will miss Alaska's game vs. Las Vegas (Nov. 18).
