
'Blades activate Lee, Place Berg on IR

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that defenseman Chris Lee has been activated from the 3-day injured reserve list and that forward Reggie Berg was placed on the 3-day IR. As per team policy the injury was not disclosed.
Lee, 26, returns to the Everblades lineup after missing the past three games with a lower body injury. The MacTier, Ontario native has picked up five points (1g, 4a) in the six games he has played with the Everblades this season. Lee has also skated in three games in the American Hockey League this year with the Albany River Rats, tallying one assist. Now in his third professional season Lee is coming off an all-star year with the Everblades last season and overall has notched 70 points (16g, 54a) in 129 career games.
Berg, 30, heads to the IR having picked up seven points (3g, 4a) in 10 games with the Everblades this season. The Everblades all-time goal scoring leader is in his seventh professional season, all with the Everblades, and is four games shy of playing in his 300th professional game. The Anoka, Minnesota native is also 12 points away from his 300th career point and has tallied 129 goals during his career which began in 1999-00.
