DULUTH, Ga. - Sporting a new-look roster, the Gladiators (17-35-3-2) look to spoil the South Carolina Stingrays' (34-18-1-6) 16-game winning streak on Friday night. The two teams will wrap up their 16-game season series with a three-in-three set this weekend. SC's 16-game streak is the second longest winning streak in ECHL history, only behind the 17 straight achieved by the Cincinnati Cyclones in 2008. The Stingrays are also on a 10-game road winning streak, which is tied for the longest in league history.

- 2/23 - F - Dan O'Donoghue reassigned from Portland (AHL)

- 3/2 - F - Dyson Stevenson recalled to Portland (AHL) and traded to Bridgeport (AHL)

Gladiators Ahoy: Four players currently on the Gladiators roster have been assigned from their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates- James Melindy, Dan O'Donoghue, Greg Carey, and Mike Lee - and seven more - Joel Hanley (POR), Louis Domingue (POR), Jordon Southorn (POR) Dyson Stevenson (POR/BRI), Bretton Stamler (HFD), Casey Pierro-Zabotel (NOR), and Joe Stejskal (IAW) - have spent time in the AHL this year.
Milestones: Sean Berkstresser is one game from his 450th professional game ... Geoff Paukovich is one goal away from his 50th as a pro ... Zach Yuen played in his 100th professional match on Sunday, and is three games from his 100th ECHL game ... James Melindy is seven games from his 100th professional game ... Jason Wilson sits at 200 professional games and 50 professional points.
