
Everblades Add Goaltender Matt Ginn; Announce Other Roster Moves

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that the team has agreed to terms with goaltender Matt Ginn (pictured above) on an amateur tryout contract (ATO). In addition, goaltender Anthony Peters was loaned to the Rochester Americans, while forward Nicolas Deschamps has been assigned to the Everblades from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League. Ginn, 24, joins the 'Blades after concluding his senior season at The College of the Holy Cross (AHA) where hs posted a 12-13-15 record with 2.10 goals against average and a .931 save percentage. The 5-11, 176-pound netminder was recently named an first team All Atlantic Hockey selection.
Deschamps, 25, joins the Everblades after logging an assist in 11 games played with Syracuse this season. Deschamps appeared in three NHL contests last season with Washington.
Peters, 24, heads to Rochester after posting a 2-0 record with the 'Blades in the past week, which includes a 32-save shutout in Greenville last Friday in his pro debut.
