Carzo Inks PTO with Norfolk Admirals

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, four-time ECHL Pacific Division Champions and proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's 2014 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, have announced that forward Rocco Carzo has signed a professional tryout agreement (PTO) with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Carzo, 24, is in his first full campaign with the Reign after being acquired in a mid-season trade with the Florida Everblades in 2013-14. In 56 games with Ontario this season, Carzo has tallied 35 points (18g-17a) and 55 penalty minutes. Carzo began his professional career at the end of the 2012-13 season with Florida, and has posted totals of 84 points (34g-50a) and 79 penalty minutes in 124 pro games split between the Everblades and the Reign.
Prior to turning pro, the Media, Penn. native completed a four-year career from 2009-13 with the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, accumulating 48 points (18g-30a) and 79 penalty minutes in 128 career collegiate games.
