Allen Americans News Release

Rapid City, South Dakota - The Allen Americans face the Rapid City Rush tonight on the road, in the second of three games at Rushmore Civic Center. Puck drop is at 8:05 pm North Texas time.

The Americans have won two straight on the six game road trip. Allen defeated the Rush 2-1 on Tuesday night in the Black Hills.

Chad Costello (32) has goals in four straight games for Allen. The Americans can clinch a playoff spot with a win tonight in Rapid City. The Rush have 63 points, with 12 games left in the regular season. The most points the Rush could get running the table is 87. The Americans have already won the season series with Rapid, and will be at 87 points with a win tonight.

The Americans are 2-1 in Rapid City this season, with just one game left in the Black Hills after tonight.

Riley Gill was outstanding in net on Tuesday, stopping 24 of 25 shots on goal. If the trend continues, then J.P Anderson should be between the pipes tonight continuing the Americans recent goalie rotation.

Jesse Messier is headed back to Allen after suffering a lower body injury on Tuesday night that is expected to keep him out of the lineup for the next couple of months. Steven Tarasuk, who was a healthy scratch on Tuesday, could be back in the lineup tonight for Allen.

Watch the game at Game On in Fairview, Jack's American Pub in McKinney, or The Franchise in Plano. Listen to the game for free streaming online at www.allenamericans.com or www.hot 1073fm.com.

The Americans return home next week for games on March 17th and 18th against the Wichita Thunder. Tickets are on sale at Allen Event Center Box Office or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
