ROYALS PRE-GAME NOTES
- Tonight, the Royals travel to First Arena in Elmira, New York for the final time of the regular season.
- The marks the fifteenth and final matchup of the 2014-15 regular season between the Royals and Jackals. So far, Reading has compiled a 9-3-1-1 against Elmira. The Royals have already clinched the DeMet's Candy Challenge Cup, which was proffered by DeMet's Candy, who has operating facilities in both the Reading and Elmira areas, for the winner of the season series between the two teams.
- Tonight's game is the seventh and final game of the regular season between the Royals and Jackals at First Arena in Elmira. The Royals have compiled a record of 4-1-1-0 in Elmira this season and have gone 13-1-1-1 at First Arena since February of 2013.
- The Royals record stands at 35-18-2-2=80, which places the team in second place in the Eastern Division of the Eastern Conference of the ECHL, two points behind the Florida Everblades.
- Reading's record is currently twenty-three games over .500, which is the high-water mark for the team this season. The team's .702 win percentage is fourth best in the Eastern Conference and fifth best in the league.
- The Royals have compiled a record of 17-2-1-1 in the team's last twenty-one games; 21-5-1-1 in the last twenty-eight; and 29-7-1-1 in the team's last thirty-eight games, which translates into a .789 win percentage.
- Tonight's game is the twenty-fifth game of the regular season for Reading against teams from the East Division. The Royals have compiled a record of 16-5-1-2 against teams against the East with four more games to be played within the division after tonight.
- The Royals last played on Sunday (March 8) in a 3-2 win over the Toledo Walleye. That game marked the twenty-fifth time this season that Reading has held the opposition to two goals or less (25-0-0-0).
- Reading has scored 207 goals and allowed 163 goals against, which translates into a positive goal differential of plus-44 (+44), which is fourth best in the league behind the Toledo Walleye (+78), the Allen Americans (+70), and the Idaho Steelheads (+54).
- Over the past twelve games, Reading has scored eleven power play goals in forty-one chances with the man advantage, which is a 26.8% scoring ratio over that time frame.
- Reading's penalty killers have given up at least on power play goal against in seven of the past eleven games, killing at a 79.5% clip during that time period (nine power play goals against in forty-four chances with the man advantage).
- Cam Reid is riding an eight game point streak (6-8a=14pts). Reid, who has twenty-five points (12g-13a) in his last sixteen games, leads the Royals with twenty-four goals and fifty-five points in fifty-five games, which places him tied for seventeenth in the ECHL scoring race.
- Adam Hughesman is riding a six game point streak (2g-8a=10pts). Hughesman, who has picked up at last one point in nineteen of his last twenty-five games, has recorded twenty-nine points (10g-19a) in that time span.
- Olivier Labelle, who leads all forwards on the team in plus-minus at plus-17 (+17), has twenty-six points (10g-16a) in his last twenty-one games.
- David Marshall scored his team-leading seventh game winning goal of the season in last Sunday's 3-2 win over Toledo.
- Brandon Alderson has scored a goal in each of the last two games for Reading.
- Defenseman Brett Flemming has had at least one assist in four of his last five games (0g-5a).
- Goaltender Martin Ouellette, who had his personal four game win streak snapped in last Saturday's 5-3 loss to Toledo, has compiled a record of 10-3-0-0 in his last thirteen games for Reading.
- Goaltender Connor Knapp stretched his personal unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-0-1) (and his win streak to three) with the twenty-five save 3-2 win over Toledo on Sunday. Knapped has compiled a record of 11-1-1-1 in his last fourteen games with Reading. His 2.53 goals against average is eighth best in the league.
- Sunday's win over Toledo was Connor Knapp's twentieth win of the season for Reading. He is only the seventh goaltender in Royals' team history to win twenty-or more games with the team in a single season, joining: (i) Barry Brust (27) (2004-05); (ii) Brandon Anderson (25) (2013-14); (iii) Cody Rudkowsky (twice) (24) (2003-04) and (24) (2005-06); (iv) Jonathan Quick (23) (2007-08); (v) Matt Dalton (twice) (22) (2009-10) and (20) (2010-11); and (vi) Jeff Sanger (20) (2002-03).

NEXT UP: The Royals return home to Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, tomorrow (Saturday, March 14) @ 7:05 pm where the team will face the Kalamazoo Wings. Tomorrow night the Royals will celebrate "St. Hattrick's" Day during which some lucky fan will win $10,000 if one of the Royals' skaters scores a hattrick courtesy of Perfetto Insurance. The first 2000 fans fifteen and older will also receive a Royals' rally towel as well as a voucher which can be redeemed for a Royals' hat courtesy of Steve Moyer Subaru. Saturday we're all GOING GREEN and as such all available tickets have been rolled back to the Green Ticket price: $12.00 courtesy of Fromm Electric. The Royals are also going to wear special green-themed jerseys on Saturday, which will be available for purchase on line after the game.
