TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight completes a back-to-back series between Adirondack and Manchester after the Thunder took down the Monarchs 6-1 last evening at the Glens Falls Civic Center. This is the sixth game this season between the division rivals and the teams are separated in the standings by a mere point, with the Monarchs in first place and the Thunder in second in the East Division. Adirondack holds a 4-0-1 advantage thus far this season, with the only Thunder loss coming in overtime at the Civic Center on December 12.

SILENGOAL: Thunder forward Jeff Silengo found the back of the net twice last night as the Thunder defefated Manchester. Silengo netted the fourth and sixth goals in the victory, with both tallies coming off of assists from teammate Mitchell Heard. Silengo also assisted on one of Heard's two goals for a career best three points (2-1-3) and his third career ECHL multi-point game.

INSTANT CHEMISTRY: Michael Kirkpatrick, Greg Wolfe and Peter MacArthur linked up as a line last night for the first time and immediately reaped the benefits with two goals in the game's first 6:04. MacArthur and Kirkpatrick each collected two helpers, the first two points on the season for MacArthur, while Wolfe tallied the second goal to compliment defenseman Mike Bergin's game opening goal. With the helpers, Kirkpatrick extended his scoring streak to five games, while MacArthur collected his first multi-point game in the ECHL since 2/12/2012 with the Las Vegas Wranglers.

PAPPY DREW-ITT: Thunder goaltender Drew Fielding collected his fourth win in as many starts this season in last night's 6-1 victory. With 27 saves on 28 shots, Fielding raised his save percentage to .960 on the seasaon and lowered his goals against average to 1.20. The Thunder have had stellar goaltending from each of the four netminders who have donned the crease this season. Thunder goaltenders have combined for a .929 save percentage through 23 games, which ranks second in the ECHL behind just Missouri. With just 54 goals allowed, the Thunder have allowed less tallies than all teams besides the Mavericks (47).

ON THE PLUS SIDE: Six Adirondack Thunder players finished last night's game with a +3 or better rating, led by Mitchell Heard who finished at +4. Defensemen Mike Bergin and Joe Faust, along with forwards Jeff Silengo, Greg Wolfe and Peter MacArthur all finished with +3 ratings in the 6-1 victory. Bergin now leads all Thunder skaters with a +16 rating on the season, which ranks him fifth in the ECHL, +3 behind the league leader Patrick Cullity of Missouri.
