Cherniwchan then added his second goal of the night when he intercepted a clearing pass from G John Curry and slid a shot into the vacant net midway through the second frame. South Carolina added a power play goal early in the third to secure the 3-0 victory over the Solar Bears. It was the third shutout in four games for the Stingrays and G David LeNevue has now collected shutouts in each of his two starts this season.
