SF Bulls Topple Division Leaders Ontario, 4-1

ONTARIO, Calif. - Captain Scott Langdon scored twice and Tyler Beskorowany made 42 saves to help lead the San Francisco Bulls (7-12-1-1) to a 4-1 win over the Pacific Division-leading Ontario Reign (14-3-1-3). Tyler Gron extended his point streak to six games (5 goals, 3 assists) with a goal, while Jordan Morrison (assist) and Brett Findlay (2 assists) also extended their point streaks to five games. Playing in his first game in a Bulls uniform, Magomed Gimbatov recorded an assist.

Dale Mitchell, back in the line-up for the first time since suffering a back injury in the Bulls home opener November 8th, put San Francisco on the board 7:10 in to the opening period on his fourth goal of the season. Just 48 seconds later, Langdon added a wraparound goal for his first on the campaign to give the Bulls a 2-0 advantage. Gimbatov, signed by the Bulls Thursday, joined Chris Crane with an assist on Langdon's strike. San Francisco out-shot their hosts 13-10 after 20 minutes.

Langdon picked up his second goal of the night on blast from the left point just 44 seconds in to the second period for a 3-0 lead. He later dropped the gloves with Mike Towns. Findlay and Morrison each had helpers on the Langdon rocket. Reign defenseman Matt Register beat Beskorowany from the point through traffic break the shutout in the middle frame. His power play marker came 4:25 in to the period and was assisted by Derek Couture. After 40 minutes, the shot clock favored the Bulls 22-19.

Gron beat Hutchinson on a 2-on-1 chance with Findlay 9:54 in to the third period. Beskorowany etched his name in the Bulls record books by turning away 24 Reign bids in the third for a total of 42 on the night. The Bulls took seven shots on goal in the final twenty minutes. The Bulls face the Reign in the second game of a two-game set in Ontario, Saturday night for a 6 p.m. puck drop before squaring off against the Las Vegas Wranglers for the first time this season. The matinee game will be played in Sin City Sunday.
