Baldwin Recalled to Houston:
Defenseman Corbin Baldwin has been recalled to the Houston Aeros. Baldwin has appeared in all nine Solar Bears games to date, collecting two assists and seven penalty minutes (PIM). Baldwin was originally assigned to the Solar Bears by Houston on October 4. Additionally, F Brett Lyon has been activated from the reserve.
Matchup:
The Solar Bears close out a four-game road trip in South Carolina tonight, with a chance to earn six of a possible eight points on the trip. Orlando opened their week-long journey in South Carolina with a 2-1 shootout victory over the Stingrays on Tuesday night, fell 4-1 to Gwinnett on Thursday, and collected a 4-3 overtime victory over Greenville yesterday. The Stingrays were in action last night against Elmira, falling 4-2 against the Jackals. Orlando is 2-0-0-0 against South Carolina this season.
Solar Bears Notes:
Five of Orlando's nine games have gone past regulation, including three contests that have needed a shootout to decide the winner... With their overtime victory last night, Orlando jumped back into first place in the South Division... LW Nick Petersen picked up two points (1 goal, 1 assist) last night, and he now has points in eight of his nine games this season, including seven multiple point games... The Solar Bears are third in the ECHL with 3.89 goals scored per game... D Mike Liambas made his Solar Bears debut last night scoring one goal and getting in a fight in the first period.

G Adam Morrison is second in the ECHL with 197 saves... F Matthew Pistilli is second in the ECHL (to Solar Bears F Ryan Ginand) with 40 shots... D Tommy Cross among all ECHL rookies with seven assists... South Carolina is ranked sixth on the power play (21.4%) and 15th on the penalty kill (80.5%).
