The team will return to the Sully on November 14 to host the Colorado Eagles. Tickets are currently on sale at the Aces office, Fred Meyer locations and www.ticketmaster.com. Ostergard, 25, is a rookie this season after a terrific four-year collegiate career at Robert Morris University. The 6'2", 200 lbs. native of Chagrin Falls, OH left RMU with the lowest career goals against average and highest save percentage among four-year netminders in the program's history. He finished his college career with a 39-41-12 record, a 2.73 GAA and .917 save percentage. His 39 wins ranked second all-time among RMU goaltenders. He also ranks second in the program in all-time saves. Last year as a senior, Ostergard compiled a 2.43 GAA and a .928 save percentage, which was tenth best among NCAA Division I goaltenders. As a freshman in 2008-2009, Ostergard was named to the College Hockey America All-Rookie Team. After completing his senior season, Ostergard joined the Chicago Express as an amateur for his pro debut. On March 18, Ostergard backstopped the Express in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Trenton Titans, making 27 saves on 32 shots.

Prior to this season, Ostergard attended the Washington Capitals Developmental Camp, where he worked with former NHL goaltender and current Caps goaltending coach, Olaf Kolzig. This summer Ostergard was signed by the expansion Orlando Solar Bears as the first ever goaltender in club history. He appeared in two preseason games with the Solar Bears. On October 5, Ostergard made 12 saves on 13 shots in just under one period of relief work against the Florida Everblades. The next night he made 33 saves on 38 shots in a 5-1 loss at Florida. Ostergard joins the Aces after the club placed goaltender James Reid on the 21-day IR last week.

The Aces are on the road for a five-game road trip beginning Saturday night in Stockton. The team will return to the Sully on November 14 to host the Colorado Eagles. Tickets are currently on sale at the Aces office, Fred Meyer locations and www.ticketmaster.com. All Aces games can be heard on NewsTalk 103.7FM and 750AM KFQD.
