Reign Blank Wranglers, Win 4-0

Las Vegas - The Ontario Reign shut the Las Vegas Wranglers out 4-0 tonight, completing the two-game weekend sweep of the team after winning 5-3 last night.

The Reign took an early 1-0 lead over the Wranglers after left wing Colton Yellow Horn scored just 66 seconds into the game. Las Vegas had a chance to tie the game with a power play in the last three minutes of the period, but the team was unable to convert, narrowly being outshot 9-8 by Ontario.

The second period was held scoreless by Wranglers goaltender Mitch O'Keefe and Reign goaltender Chris Carozzi, who appeared in net for the Reign last night as well. The Wranglers brought a 11-9 advantage into the third, but a final Ontario goal from defenseman Brock Sheahan secured the 4-0 shutout win for the Reign.

The Wranglers begin a three-game series against the Alaska Aces on Wednesday, Nov. 7, and carry it over into the weekend on Nov. 9 and 10. The first 1,000 fans at Wednesday's game will get a free 2012 Western Conference Champions t-shirt, and there will be free dog tags for the first 1,000 kids age 12 and under on both Friday and Saturday. On Nov. 10, Captain America will make a special live appearance at Orleans Arena as well.
