ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspensions as a result of ECHL Game #86, Elmira at South Carolina, on Nov. 2.

Elmira's Kevin Harvey has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount.

Harvey was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #70.3 at 6:35 of the third period.

Harvey will miss Elmira's games at Gwinnett (tonight), at Florida (Nov. 7 and Nov. 9), at Orlando (Nov. 10) and at Reading (Nov. 14).

South Carolina's Ryan Turek has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Turek will miss South Carolina's games vs. Orlando (tonight) and at Gwinnett (Nov. 4).

South Carolina's Tyler McNeeley has been fined an undisclosed amount.

McNeeley was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for slashing under Rule #61.5 at 6:35 of the third period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

South Carolina head coach Spencer Carbery and Elmira head coach Dwight Mullins have each been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions.
