May 22, 2019 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Fresno Grizzlies News Release

Tacoma, Wash. - Raudy Read's three-run homer in the second inning, his sixth of the season, did not hold up for the Fresno Grizzlies (23-22) in a 12-3 setback to the Tacoma Rainiers (22-24) at Cheney Stadium on Tuesday evening. After jumping to a 3-0 lead, the Grizzlies saw the Rainiers score the final 12 runs of the game. The series-opener was the clubs' first meeting this season.

Tacoma shortstop Chris Mariscal, a Fresno native and Fresno State Baseball alum made his Triple-A debut during Tuesday's game. The 26-year-old, a 14th round draft pick of the Seattle Mariners in 2014, singled twice and walked, scoring three runs in the leisurly victory. Jose Lobaton (solo) and Ian Miller (two-run) each homered for Rainiers; Miller had a huge night, going 4-for-5 with five RBI. Braden Bishop and Austin Nola (triple, two RBI) each enjoyed three-hit games for Tacoma. Kyle Seager knocked in three runs for the home side.

On a bullpen night for the Rainiers, the Grizzlies managed only one hit and one walk after the fourth inning.
