
Four Booyah Named to 2021 Major League Dreams Showcase

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - The Northwoods League has announced the rosters for the 2021 Major League Dreams Showcase, which will be on Tuesday, August 3 at Copeland Park, the home of the La Crosse Loggers.
Four members of the Booyah have been selected for the first game that is slated to start at 4:05 pm. Kaden Hollow, Brendan Ryan, Ryan Stefiuk and Tyler Chadwick will represent Green Bay in La Crosse.
Hollow, a freshman at Dixie State, has shown his ability to swing with the best of them. His six home runs are tied for the most on the Booyah this season and has him tied for third most in the Northwoods League. Hollow is hitting .264 on the season with 30 runs batted in. This is coming off a season in which he hit .322 with nine home runs with the Trailblazers in their first season as a Division I school. Hollow was named to the 2021 Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Freshman All-American team and the Academic All-WAC team.
Ryan, a sophomore at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, has become the leadoff hitter for the Booyah this season. Earlier this season, he had a five-game hitting streak, including a 4-for-5 day against the Lakeshore Chinooks. Ryan is hitting .250 with one home run and 17 runs batted in this season. His home run came in back-to-back fashion against the Kenosha Kingfish in an impressive win. In his first season with the Islanders, Ryan hit .305 in 141 at-bats.
Stefiuk, a freshman at Vanderbilt, has allowed four earned runs in his last two starts and has struck out seven batters. Over those two starts, he has tossed 10.2 innings. He took a redshirt at the SEC powerhouse in the spring.
Chadwick, a freshman at West Virginia, threw six innings on July 17 and allowed just two runs. He has also struck out five men. Over the season, he has thrown 24.2 innings and has struck out 22 men. In the spring, he struck out 17 men in 10.2 innings pitched.
