Everblades Add Brindley to IR

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush, along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that defenseman Ryan Brindley has been placed on the 7-day Injured Reserve list. As per team policy the injury was not disclosed.

The 29-year-old team captain suffered the injury during Florida's 4-2 loss to the South Carolina Stingrays on January 28. Brindley, who missed six games in December while in the IR, has 19 points (4g, 15a) in 35 games this season. The native of Thunder Bay, Ontario is four games shy of skating in his 100th game as an Everblade and overall has notched 275 points (83g, 192a) in 440 career professional games during his eight-year career.

Brindley joins forwards Greg Black and Reggie Berg on the IR at this time for the Everblades.

The Everblades return to action on Wednesday, February 1 when they host the Idaho Steelheads at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena. Everblades, group tickets and individual game tickets are on sale now!
