WEEKLY SUMMARY: The Johnstown Chiefs (17-17-8) went 2-0-0 last week, featuring a pair of road wins. The Chiefs beat Dayton on Friday, 8-6, and Wheeling on Saturday, 4-2. The wins improved the Chiefs to .500. The Chiefs play host to Trenton on Wednesday, followed by a home and home series with Dayton, beginning Friday in Dayton. The Chiefs are now in a fourth place tie with Trenton, though the Titans have three games in hand.

Game #41 (1/27/06) Johnstown 8 ¡V DAYTON 6 Cey 44 Saves The chiefs stormed out to 4-0 lead in the first 21 minutes of play, then survived a Bombers comeback, winning 8-6. Randy continued lighting the lamp, scoring a pair, including the game winner, with just under five minutes to play. J.B. Bittner had five points, including four assists, while Justin Kelly had four points, including three assists. Eleven Chiefs found the score sheet.
Game #42 (1/28/06) Johnstown 4 ¡V WHEELING 2 Boutin 42 saves The Chiefs had dropped three of the first four meetings between the teams, and looked to be on their way to dropping the fifth. The Chiefs spotted the Nailers a 2-0 lead, until a three goal outburst in two minutes and five seconds late in the second period propelled the Chiefs to a hard fought 4-2 win. Randy Rowe collected a pair of goals (18,19) including his second game winner in two nights, one minute and 41 seconds apart. Ben Wallace added his first multi-point game with two assists. Morgan Cey made 42 saves, including 16 in the third period and several big saves down the stretch, preserving the Chiefs win.
