----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look to get back over the .500 mark as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the third game of a four-game series at Metro Bank Park. Yesterday afternoon, the SeaWolves could not get the bats going as they dropped the second game of the series to the Sens 3-1. Erie enters play today a half game behind the two second place clubs in the Western Division, Bowie and Harrisburg...Lefty Kelvin De La Cruz makes his 17th appearance, 15th start and his first start against Harrisburg. De La Cruz is looking for back-to-back wins, a feat he has not been able to accomplish this season. He has alternated wins and losses in his last five starts. De La Cruz earned his fifth win in his last start at Akron. In the game, he allowed four runs on seven hits with four walks and three strikeouts in five innings of work. The 'Wolves won the game 8-5...RHP Paul Demny takes the mound for the Senators making his 17th start and first against the SeaWolves. Demny has won his last two starts combining to allow just two runs on 13 hits in 14.0 innings pitched. In his last start, he beat Altoona on June 27 allowing a run on five hits with a walk and a season-high nine strikeouts in seven innings of work...The SeaWolves will play one more game in Harrisburg on Tuesday night before retuning home to host Akron on July 4. The SeaWolves will wear special Stars and Stripes Caps during the entire Akron series. The caps will be autographed and auctioned off with proceeds benefitting veterans charities.
