Special Naturalization Ceremony at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium

MANCHESTER, NH- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will naturalize 10 candidates during a special ceremony at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, home of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

USCIS Acting Manchester Field Office Director, Lou Chaves, will administer the Oath of Allegiance to the new citizens. The naturalization ceremony is part of an Independence day celebration. This year's ceremonies will celebrate our nation's 236th birthday.

Honored guests and speakers include: New Hampshire Governor John Lynch; Dr. Susan Lynch; and Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas.

The 10 candidates come from the following nine countries: Brazil, China, Dominican Republic, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, South Korea and United Kingdom.

This ceremony is part of USCIS' annual celebration of Independence Day. More than 4,000 candidates will become citizens at approximately 45 special ceremonies across the country and around the world that began June 28, continuing through July 4, and into the following week.

The celebration will include special ceremonies at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia; Comerica Park in Detroit; the National World War II Museum in New Orleans; the USS Constitution in Charlestown, Mass.; Kandahar Air Force Base, Afghanistan; Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida; the Ambassador's Residence in Tegucigalpa, Honduras; and aboard the USS Midway Museum in San Diego.
