
Devils Send Three to Trenton and Add One

ALBANY, N.Y. - Dave Caruso has been recalled on loan from Trenton (ECHL) to Albany (AHL), while Trevor Kell and Darcy Zajac have been returned on loan from Albany to Trenton. Also, Myles Stoesz has been loaned to Trenton. The announcement was made by Albany and Trenton General Manager Chris Lamoriello.
Caruso, 28, is making his third stint with Albany this season. He has played in four AHL games this year, posting a 1-2-0 record. Earlier, the Queens, N.Y. native was recalled from Trenton on Nov. 10 and returned on Nov. 13. Days later on Nov. 19, he came back to Albany. Caruso made his season debut in relief against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Nov. 24 and won his first game against Binghamton on Nov. 27. He was returned to Trenton on Dec. 12. In the ECHL this season, Caruso has posted a 5-8-0 record with a 3.33 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage.
Kell, 24, was recalled on loan from Trenton on Nov. 14 and appeared in 21 games for Albany. He registered a goal and two assists, including a multi-point effort against Adirondack on Dec. 5. The Thunder Bay, Ontario native returns to Trenton where he began the season. Kell played nine games in the ECHL, posting a then team-best 11 points with five goals and six assists.
Zajac, 24, joined Albany after being recalled from Trenton on Nov. 27. While in the Capital Region, he appeared in 15 games and registered a goal and an assist. Zajac, who hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, scored his first career goal in a 4-3 win at Binghamton on Dec. 31. He began the season in Trenton where he played 14 games, registering two goals and six assists.
Stoesz, 23, has been in Albany for the entire season and has played seven games, racking up 30 penalty minutes. A Steinbach, Manitoba native, he made his 2010-11 debut in a 3-0 loss against Syracuse on Nov. 12. In his four-year professional career, Stoesz has played 136 ECHL games, posting 12 goals and seven assists.
The Devils travel to Worcester tonight for a 7 p.m. start.
