
Charter TV3 to Broadcast Sharks Game Tonight Vs. Devils

WORCESTER, MA - Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced today that the Worcester Sharks game vs. the Albany Devils on Tuesday, January 11 will be the first of six games televised live on Charter TV3 for the 2010-11 season.
"The Worcester Sharks are excited to work with Charter TV3 once again this season," said Mudd. "Charter TV3 is a tremendous partner. They provide our great fans with a terrific production of action packed Sharks' hockey throughout the season from the comfort of their own homes."
Worcester Sharks Broadcaster Eric Lindquist will be joined by the Sports Director of Charter TV3 Kevin Shea for the fourth straight season.
Kevin Shea is a 13-year veteran of the television station, which is based in Worcester, and owned by Charter Communications. Each weeknight, "Worcester News Tonight" viewers enjoy watching Kevin provide a variety of sports highlights and interviews focused on local schools and athletes. This includes the award-winning "Friday Night Football Frenzy" co-hosted by Kevin along with Andy Lacombe. Shea also provides play-by-play coverage of local high school and collegiate football and basketball games, plus Worcester Tornadoes baseball games.
"Charter TV3 is pleased to once again team up with the Worcester Sharks, said the Director of Local Programming for Charter TV3 Michael Marcy. "The Sharks provide a high caliber of on-ice excitement for residents of central Massachusetts and we look forward to televising six games live this season."
The following home games will air LIVE on Charter TV3;
* Tuesday, January 11 vs. Albany @ 7pm
* Friday, January 28 vs. Bridgeport @ 7:30pm
* Friday, February 4 vs. Manchester @ 7:30pm
* Wednesday, March 9 vs. Hershey @ 7pm
* Friday, March 25 vs. Providence @ 7:30pm
* Tuesday, April 5 vs. Portland @ 7pm
On Tuesday, the Sharks host the Albany Devils at 7pm at the DCU Center! Buy tickets for just $11 by calling the Sharks front office at 508-929-0500! The game will be shown LIVE on Charter TV3!
The Sharks travel to Springfield on Friday for a 7:30pm clash with the Springfield Falcons. The game will mark Roy Sommer's 1,000th game behind the bench in the AHL!
On Saturday, Worcester travels to Portland for a 7pm battle with the Pirates as the two teams compete for the Unum Cup Challenge.
On Sunday, the Sharks travel to Providence for a 4:05pm start against the Bruins.
