The AHL All-Star Game is on Monday, January 31st at Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Gustafsson will also participate in the AHL All-Star Skills Competition on Sunday, January 30th.

Gustafsson recently returned to the Phantoms following his first call-up to the Philadelphia Flyers.

He is first among all AHL rookies in assists and is second for all AHL defensemen. His 15 power play assists place him fourth in the league among all players and first among rookies and blueliners

A native of Kvissleby, Sweden, Gustafsson joined the Phantoms for five games last season following the end of a three-year career at Northern Michigan University. He scored two goals and added five assists for seven points in those five games. Over three seasons at Northern Michigan, Gustafsson posted seven goals and 86 assists for 93 points in 123 games.
