Blades announce first round playoff schedule

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today the schedule for their first round playoff meeting with the Columbia Inferno. The Everblades and Inferno will meet in a best-of-five series starting next Wednesday at Germain Arena.

The following is the playoff schedule for round one:

GAME 1 - Wednesday, April 9 - Columbia at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena (Ticket GAME "A") GAME 2 - Friday, April 11 - Columbia at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena (Ticket GAME "B") GAME 3 - Saturday, April 12 - Florida at Columbia, 7:05 p.m. GAME 4* - Monday, April 14 - Florida at Columbia, 7:05 p.m. GAME 5* - Wednesday, April 16 - Columbia at Florida, 7:30 p.m. @ Germain Arena

During the regular season the Everblades finished with a record of 4-3-1 vs. Columbia. At home, the Everblades were 3-1-0 vs. the Inferno, and on the road Florida finished with a 1-2-1 mark. Overall, the Everblades outscored Columbia 26-21 in the eight-game season series. The playoff meeting will be the first ever between the clubs.

Tickets for games "A" & "B" are on sale now, and can be purchased at the Germain Arena box office, which is open from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com. The Everblades finish off the 2007-08 regular season with a pair of games vs. the Texas Wildcatters on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5.
