Ice Pilots Fall in Season Finale 5-1 as 6,827 Fans Pack Hangar

PENSACOLA, FL - Morgan Cey made 36 saves for Mississippi as the Sea Wolves defeated the Ice Pilots 5-1 in front of a season high crowd of 6,827 at the Pensacola Civic Center on Saturday night to conclude the 2007-08 season.
Matt Rogers netted the lone Ice Pilots goal in a two on one with Brian Pouliot. It cut the lead to two and gave the Ice Pilots momentum but Cey held strong stopping many quality scoring chances.
Jason Beeman, Zbynek Hrdel, Andy Contois, Jason Tejchma and Mark Hurtubise scored goals for Mississippi in the victory. Cam Ellsworth made 24 saves in the losing effort. The Pilots finish the season series against the Sea Wolves with a record of 5-5-2.
Patrick Bordeleau put the crowd of 6,827 on their feet as he fought Chris Cava, knocking him down to the ice.
