Bakersfield Beats Utah 6-5 in Overtime

Bakersfield, California - The Bakersfield Condors defeated the Utah Grizzlies 6-5 in overtime Saturday night at Rabobank Arena.
The Grizzlies took a 1-0 lead 22 seconds in as Mathieu Aubin redirected home a puck as the Grizzlies came out aggressive in the Condors zone.
Utah though then was whistled for a major penalty for charging just 24 seconds later and the Condors scored three power-play goals in a 1:52 stretch to take a 3-1 lead just 3:26 into the game.
The Grizzlies though stormed back with goals from Vinny Scarsella, H.T. Lenz and Connor Hardowa to take a 4-3 lead in a 5:38 stretch from 8:15 of the first period to 12:53 of frame.
Mathieu Aubin's second goal of the night 1:39 into the second period gave Utah a 5-3 lead as Matt Pelech setup the play and Johnnie Searfoss found Aubin in the left circle.
The game stayed 5-3 for 30:28 before Bakersfield scored two goals late to tie and then 3:07 into overtime for the win as the Condors scored four of their six goals on the power-play.
