Driedger Returned to IceMen

ELMIRA, N.Y.- The Ottawa Senators have reassigned goaltender, Chris Driedger from the Binghamton Senators of the AHL to the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light.

Driedger returns Evansville after making one start for Binghamton. The Winnipeg native won a game Friday night for Binghamton on Friday night against the Syracuse Crunch. He stopped 25 of the 28 shots he faced. One of Syracuse's goals came on a penalty shot.

Driedger has started nine of the IceMen's last 11 games, winning three of his last four starts. He returns to the IceMen where he owns a record of 4-5-0-1, a 3.41 Goals Against Average, and an 89.7 save percentage through 10 games with the IceMen. He recorded his first professional shutout on Nov. 19 against Greenville.

Evansville will finish up a two game road series tonight against the Elmira Jackals. The puck is scheduled to drop at 6:05 central time from New York. Catch the game live at Bar Louie, the official Watch Party Destination of the Evansville IceMen.

Following their two game trip to Elmira, the IceMen will journey to Indy on Wednesday. Kalamazoo will come calling to Evansville in the IceMen's next home game on Friday, Dec. 5. It will be Mascot Night at the Ford Center so drop by and watch area mascots take the ice in a game of broom ball.
