ABOUT LAST NIGHT: A three-run seventh inning put the Indianapolis Indians away in a shutout loss to the Gwinnett Stripers to even the series at one game apiece, 6-0. Despite the loss, Indians right fielder Miguel Andújar logged his 35th multi-hit game of the season with an opposite field single in the fourth inning and a double down the left field line in the sixth. The Indians couldn't muster anything against Gwinnett starter Darius Vines, who worked 5.1 shutout innings in just his second Triple-A start of the season. The bullpen tandem of Brian Moran and Seth Elledge finished the job, allowing just one hit over 3.2 combined innings in relief. After Indianapolis opener Andre Jackson worked a 1-2-3 first, left-hander Kent Emanuel threw 5.0 innings of relief and allowed a two-run triple to Stripers second baseman Braden Shewmake and an RBI groundout to catcher Joe Hudson. Gwinnett added three more runs in the bottom of the seventh, highlighted by RBI hits from right fielder Dalton Guthrie and shortstop Vaughn Grissom.

YOHAN FANS 'EM: Yohan Ramirez was perfect in his 1.2 innings of relief on Wednesday night, recording four of his five outs by way of strikeout. Ramirez has been excellent in 13 appearances with Indianapolis this season, he is 1-0 with a 1.08 ERA (2er/16.2ip), 27 strikeouts to just six walks, 1.02 WHIP and opponents are slashing .192 (11-for-57) against him. His four punchouts tied his season high, it was his third four-strikeout game and first since April 14 vs. St. Paul. The 28-year-old has a 14.58 K/9.

SILKY DEFENSE: Since July 25, the Indians are one of two teams in all of professional baseball to play errorless baseball, alongside the Blue Jays. During the eight-game errorless streak, the Indians have faced 281 total chances and have recorded 261 putouts. The Indians are winners in five of eight games thanks to quintessential defense. The streak is Indy's longest of the season, having previously played five-straight games of errorless baseball on three separate occasions.

MIGGY KEEPS MASHING: Miguel Andújar notched two of Indy's five hits on Wednesday night. The 28-year-old continues to be the leading force of the Indians offense and one of the top hitters in the league. He has active six-game hitting streak, collecting multiple hits in five of the six. In July, he hit .380 (38-for-100) with 17 runs scored, two doubles, six home runs, 26 RBI and a 1.009 OPS in 24 games. He leads the International League in average (.361) and tied for the league-lead in hits (117), he also ranks among full-season qualifiers in RBI (2nd, 76), OPS (5th, 1.003), total bases (T-5th, 188), slugging percentage (6th, .582) and on-base percentage (7th, .421). Since he was outrighted by Pittsburgh on May 22, he has hit safely in 50 of 56 games, including 27 multi-hit games.

DRIVE FOR FIVE, PT. 3: Miguel Andújar led the Indianapolis offense to a series-opening victory at Gwinnett with his third five-RBI game of the season. Andújar joins Roberto Petagine as the only Indians to record three five-RBI games in a season in the Victory Field era. Prior to achieving the feat three times this season, his last five-RBI performance came on April 9, 2017, in Game 1 of a doubleheader at Erie with Double-A Trenton.

SHUT OUT: The Indians were held scoreless for just the third time this season and first time in their last 60 games, their last shutout came in a 1-0 loss in Game 2 of a doubleheader vs. Iowa on May 20. Sandwiched between the team's last two shutouts, the Indians have scored the third-most runs in the International League (377).

SELBY CLOSES: Colin Selby earned his team-leading sixth save of the season on Tuesday night. The 25-year-old has successfully recorded saves in six of his seven opportunities, not allowing a hit in five of seven outings. Since July 3, Selby has a 2.79 ERA (3er/9.2ip), allowing just three hits with 15 strikeouts and three saves.

TONIGHT: The Indians and Stripers continue their six-game set at Coolray Field on Thursday at 7:05 PM ET. A 6-0 win for Gwinnett on Wednesday night evened the series at one apiece. The Stripers earned a series win in the team's lone series last season, 4-2. Tonight, right-hander Travis MacGregor (1-0, 3.15) will take the mound for Indianapolis against Gwinnett's left-hander Dylan Dodd (2-5, 7.94). Dodd is currently rated Atlanta's No. 9 prospect. Tonight will be his first career appearance against Indy.

MACGREGOR TAKES THE HILL: Right-hander Travis MacGregor will take the mound for his 12th appearance (second start) with Indianapolis this season. In his only other this start this season with Indy, he tossed 3.0 scoreless frames with three punchouts vs. Columbus in Game 2 of a doubleheader on June 21. The 25-year-old is 1-0 with a 3.15 ERA (7er/20.0ip) with 15 strikeouts this season. Tonight, will be his first career appearances against Gwinnett.

THIS DATE IN 2003: Left-handed pitcher Luis Martinez was lights out in an 8.0-inning outing en route to a 1-0 win vs. Durham. The southpaw struck out 10 batters for his third quality start with the Indians as he improved to 3-0 on the season. Martinez also extended his scoreless inning streak to 20.1 innings in the Indians' defeat of the South Division leaders. Martinez was a gem for Indianapolis the last couple months of the season, as he finished with a 0.99 ERA (5er/45.2ip) in seven starts.
